Tallis Baker is a Canberra-based writer and climate adaptation policy adviser. When she’s not considering the doom and gloom of climate change, she’s writing YA fantasy that centres dark themes, knife-wielding girls, friendship in all its forms, and not a little queer romance. She has a degree in marine science and a collection of thematically relevant earrings. She loves reading (anything historical, fantastic, and/or romantic), kayaking, nature, Scottish folk music, and chai lattes.
