Lyn Groves is a writer and educator with a lifelong passion for language and storytelling. A Varuna residency recipient, she has published short pieces in journals and magazines, taught in Australia and overseas, and is active in the Australian literary community. Her debut novel — The Last Pieces of Me — was inspired by a desire to capture the Australia her parents knew, and to explore the resilience and complexity of ordinary lives.
